80 thousand 31 houses were sold in Türkiye
House Sales Statistics February 2023, decreased by 18.0% in February compared to the same month of the previous year and became 80 thousand 31. İstanbul had the highest share with 18.7% and 14 thousand 980 house sales. The followers of İstanbul were Ankara with 8 thousand 235 house sales and İzmir with 5 thousand 31 house sales with the share of 10.3% and 6.3% respectively. The provinces with the lowest number of sales were Hakkari with 16, Ardahan with 30 and Tunceli with 47 house sales.
Houses sales decreased by 4.4% in January-February 2023
In January-February period, house sales decreased by 4.4% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 177 thousand 739.
Mortgaged house sales became 17 thousand 357
In Türkiye, mortgaged house sales decreased by 12.7% in February compared to the same month of the previous year and became 17 thousand 357. Mortgaged house sales had 21.7% share of all house sales. In January-February period, mortgaged house sales decreased by 11.8% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 33 thousand 560.
5 thousand 93 of mortgaged house sales in February and 9 thousand 353 of mortgaged house sales in January-February period released as first hand sales.
Other house sales became 62 thousand 674
In Türkiye, other house sales decreased by 19.3% in February compared to the same month of the previous year and became 62 thousand 674. Other house sales had 78.3% share of all house sales. In January-February period, other house sales decreased by 2.5% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 144 thousand 179.
23 thousand 476 houses were sold for the first time
In Türkiye, first time house sales decreased by 18.8% in February compared to the same month of the previous year and became 23 thousand 476. First sales had 29.3% share of all house sales. In January-February period, first time house sales decreased by 9.1% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 51 thousand 8.
Second hand house sales became 56 thousand 555
In Türkiye, second hand house sales decreased by 17.7% in February compared to the same month of the previous year and became 56 thousand 555. Second hand sales had 70.7% share of all house sales. In January-February period, second hand house sales decreased by 2.4% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 126 thousand 731.
In February, 3 thousand 350 houses were sold to foreigners
House sales to foreigners decreased by 27.0% in February compared to the same month of the previous year and became 3 thousand 350. House sales to foreigners had 4.2% share of all house sales in February. Antalya ranked first with a thousand 261 sales to foreigners. The followers of Antalya were İstanbul with a thousand 133 house sales and Mersin with 225 house sales to foreigners.

House sales were mostly made to Russia citizens according to nationalities
In February, Russia citizens bought a thousand 183 houses from Türkiye. The followers of Russia citizens were Iran citizens with 446 house sales, Iraq citizens with 173 house sales and Ukraine citizens with 142 house sales.
